FUJIFILM Business Innovation announced its collaboration with FUJIFILM (Thailand) to Introduce two new “Revoria” production printers that pioneer integrated printing solutions
FUJIFILM Business Innovation Company Limited and FUJIFILM Company Limited have partnered to make FUJIFILM the leader in Thailand’s printing technology. They aim to optimize their subsidiaries’ business performance through the “One Stop Service”. In a joint press conference titled “Fujifilm Business Innovation: The Brand of Choice for Graphic Communication Market”, the two companies presented technological innovations and advancements that address changing customer needs and printing technologies and ecosystems resulting from digital transformation. The two companies are committed to supporting new-generation business growth and introducing high-quality production printing machines “Revoria Press SC180/170”, “Revoria Press EC1100”, at Pullman Bangkok Grand Sukhumvit.
Masaaki Yanagiya, president of FUJIFILM (Thailand) Co., Ltd, said that Thailand’s print business was one of the biggest business segments in Southeast Asia because of the exponential growth of the printing industry, especially in the packaging- and label-printing segment. In order to enhance the value and quality of printing, new technologies and innovations will be used. Businesses are driven to increase their print product selection to meet the needs of consumers. FUJIFILM Business Innovation Co., Ltd. hosted an event today, “Fujifilm Business Innovation, the Brand of Choice in Graphic Communication Market,” under the theme “Inspiring print business,” to display their innovations in advanced technologies, and a variety of FUJIFILM forward-looking solutions for printing that were developed through the synergy of two companies under FUJIFILM. The tech-driven innovations of the company are expected to meet future printing needs in Thailand. Kitti Pornpipatwong, a representative of the company, said that the goal was to be the hub for integrated solutions to drive growth in the printing industry.
Highlights of the event were the two innovative printers launched under the FUJIFILM label: Revoria Press EC1100, and Revoria Press sc180/170. The two printers are based on Revoria Press. The Revoria Press EC1100 printer is a production-scale model with high quality, capable of up to 100 pages per minutes. Revoria Press SC180/170 also has a high speed, high productivity printer. It can print about 80 pages per minutes. The print resolution is up to 2400x2400dpi, allowing for excellent quality and high-speed printing. These printers have been equipped with high-quality processors for maximizing the printing performance. These printers are able to accommodate paper weights ranging from 52 to 800 grams, and can support different paper sizes ranging from 98x148mm up to 330×1,200mm. The high-capacity 100% air sucking feeder is also included to enable continuous printing. There are many options and features for post-press finishing to streamline the workflow from print to after-press.
Revoria Press EC1100, Revoria Press SC180/170 are equipped with features and functions unique to the printing industry. These include:
Reprint: It can scan materials previously printed on the same or different presses in order to reproduce consistent colors when reprinting.
Colour Profile Maker for Display: It reproduces the colors printed on the monitor accurately for a color proof. This is to prevent inconsistencies in colors between the colors of the output printed and the colors on the screen.
AI Auto Correction of Images: This tool uses artificial intelligence to improve the quality of photos. An advanced image-optimization system powered by AI will automatically adjust and enhance each photograph. The system will analyze the scene of each photo on the page, and correct it accordingly. An image that’s too dark or bright can be adjusted for the right levels of brightness and/or contrast to produce a beautiful printed output.
Air Suction Feeder This high-consistency feeding technology maximizes feed performance while minimizing problems associated with paper feeders.
