Roosevelt Douglas Primary School, New York – 3D Printer Donation

Paul Baron, Eric Keller, Mark Lewis, and Eric Keller donated a 3D printer for Roosevelt Douglas Primary School in Dominica on behalf of The Green Houses Realty Group and the Robinson family. This donation was made with the goal of inspiring young people to become more interested in climate change.

Ender 3 is a top brand 3D printer that will allow students to create 3D models. This includes sustainable buildings, renewable energy systems, natural landscapes, and sustainable manufacturing. Students will be able to see the effect of human activity on the environment, and how they can help to mitigate it.

Mark Lewis, cofounder of The Green Houses Realty Group expressed his joy at being able support Roosevelt Douglas Primary School. “As a real estate company, we are keenly aware of the impact that climate change can have on the built environment. By donating this 3D printer, we hope to inspire young people to think creatively about how they can help to protect our planet.”

Mark Lewis added: “My late mother, Joan A. Robinson, cherished RDPS and its students.”

Therefore, we are pleased to be able to support the Roosevelt Douglas Primary School in this way, and we hope that this donation will encourage students to take an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects, which are critical to addressing the challenges of climate change.”

This initiative is enthusiastically supported by the Robinson family, who has a long history of charitable giving in Dominica. “We are delighted to be able to give back to the community in Dominica in this way and honor Joan A. Robinson and her legacy. We hope that this donation will inspire young people to take an interest in environmental issues,” said another spokesperson for the family.

Officially, the Roosevelt Douglas Primary School received the 3D printer on April 4, 2023. This donation is part a larger initiative by The Green Houses Realty Group that promotes sustainable development and environmental awareness in communities worldwide.
