3 Arrested For Printing, Circulating Counterfeit Currency | India News


According to police, three individuals were arrested in this area on Saturday for allegedly printing counterfeit currency notes.

The accused claimed they had recovered fake Indian currency notes, FICN (false Indian currency notes), with a face worth of Rs 42,000.

Superintendent of Police S Anand announced that Sachin and Akhilesh were taken into custody for printing FICN at a Kotwali area warehouse.

He stated that he also seized the ink, the raw material and the printer used for the printing of FICN in the workshop of his accuser.

He added that FICNs with a face worth of Rs 42,000 were seized from them.

Police say that the suspects printed FICN in smaller denominations, and used them to print in rural areas.
