HP Inc doubles its efforts to empower Indian SMBs through sustainable, secure solutions

India’s small and medium-sized business community (SMB) is an important part of India’s economy. It is crucial to be globally competitive. HP Inc claims that it has a stable and secure ecosystem for SMBs to help them in their digital journey.

Xavier Garcia is the Global Head and General Manager of Office Print Hardware at HP. He told IANS that the company has a variety of remote monitoring and management tools that will allow IT managers in India to be more productive while their workplaces are protected from hackers.

Garcia stated, “We want to continue growing our business among SMBs India by providing them with our new-age sustainable and secure printing solutions.”

India’s SMB community employs more than 110 millions people. Smooth connectivity is a problem in the post-pandemic hybrid environment where many employees work from home while others are at work.

“We’re bringing to India our reliable and secure printing solutions that we’ve already rigorously tested at our end. Garcia stated that India’s SMBs and startups are growing rapidly and that our solutions and devices can help them achieve a new level of productivity in the hybrid work situation.

Garcia is responsible to print hardware systems as well as a host of hardware product generation, both for transactional and service businesses. This includes both ink and laser technologies.

Inkjet printers saw a 17.7% annual growth in Asia-Pacific in 2022. Some of the larger markets like India and Indonesia experienced double-digit growth year-on-year, due to economic recovery following the pandemic.

According to IDC in 2022 HP maintained its market leadership position in Asia-pacific with 35.5 Percent market share in the home/office printing space.

The company now has a new line of LaserJet printers that use sustainable TerraJet ink. This toner can deliver up to 27% less energy and 78% less plastic packaging.

Customers can give their employees the technology to increase productivity with 25 percent faster print speeds

“The Colour LaserJet 4000 series was made for small businesses, allowing them to increase productivity by providing professional printing that is reliable and easy. Garcia stated that the Colour LaserJet Enterprise5000/6000 will be available to scale up productivity as our customers grow.

TerraJet is an advanced technology toner that uses 27 percent less energy to print, up to 78% reduction in plastic and delivers sharper detail with as many as 20 percent more printable colours.

HP TerraJet cartridges are more sustainable than predecessor products, and they can be included in new printing solutions that range from small businesses to large corporations.

Garcia says sustainability is now a top priority for every government, even in India.

“We are leading in creating products which are sustainable and environment-friendly. With 45% post-consumer recycled content, we have the best ink tank printer on the market. Garcia stated that India is sure to be an important part of the global sustainability agenda in coming years.
